About Yoga with jayne

I teach flowing, soulful yoga with a strong focus on healthy alignment, breath awareness and playful exploration. BWY and Yoga Alliance (500 hour) accredited, I have been teaching since 2010 (and practising for more than 25 years). My teaching is strongly influenced by the magical Sianna Sherman, with whom I completed an advanced RASA teacher training, and, as a SATYA qualified teacher, I weave in the experimental somatic movements and fascia release work of Tias Little, encouraging a deeper connection within. I aim to create energising, yet thoughtful classes, encouraging individuals to develop confidence and joy in their yoga wherever they are. I also teach Pregnancy yoga, yoga for mums and babes, toddlers, teens and family yoga, as well as meditation and restorative yoga and yoga on water - SUP yoga. I strongly believe there is no one size fits all and as a teacher my main role is to help students to listen to their bodies to discover what they need every time they get on the mat (and off it!)
I teach a range of classes across London (and online) and lead CPD workshops for yoga teachers/trainees.

Sunday at 11.30am: Rasa yoga – a juicy infusion of all the flavours of yoga - asana, pranayama, mudra, myth, mantra in a dynamic flow class at The Life Centre, W11

Wednesday 7am-8am, Vinyasa Flow, YogaHome, N16
Thursday Morning meditation, 7.15-7.45am YogaHome, N16

Friday 9.30am-10.30am, Ashtanga at TripSpace, E8<br

SUP Yoga Tuesdays  8.30am & 12.30pm, Paddleboard Yoga at the West Reservoir, N4, and Thursday Sunset Sup Yoga at 5.30pm

Pregnant yogis can join me for Antenatal Yoga at The Life Centre, Sundays at 6.30pm and online Wednesdays 11.15am

Online yoga Wednesday evenings 6.30-7.45 pm and Sundays 9-10am. (£5 D.I. while online, £10 when back in the studio)

I also teach children and teens in schools by arrangement, and yoga and meditation in offices/ artists studios — Yoga helps employees unwind after work and improves focus at the start of day/lunchtime! Private classes by arrangement.

My own practice of more than 20 years started with Iyengar at college, before I discovered the dynamism of Ashtanga. I am grateful for all the teachers who have encouraged me to experiment and explore styles and grow to  enjoy sitting still! I aim to pass on that encouragement and joy of yoga and meditation to my own students.
