Renewed You Yoga – Yoga to Restore, Reinvigorate and Renew.
Akhanda Yoga: I teach Akhanda Hatha yoga in Southport. Akhanda Yoga is traditional hatha yoga from the foothills of the Himalayas. Akhanda yoga was founded by my guru, Yogrishi Vishvketu, to reaffirm the true practice of yoga. It is a holistic practice incorporating asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breathing practices), mantra, relaxation, meditation and discussion of yogic philosophy and the yoga lifestyle. Each class works on providing balance in your body and mind ending with a short meditation.
Restore and Renew Yoga: Yoga is a holistic practice bringing balance to the body and mind (physically, energetically and emotionally). Give yourself an hour to slow down in this restorative yoga class. Taking traditional hatha yoga poses but focusing on postures for longer, settling into them and relaxing deep onto the mat. Restorative yoga has many health benefits and can help lower blood pressure and ease symptoms of stress and anxiety.
Prenatal Yoga: I offer pregnancy yoga for mums to be in Southport. These classes are based in hatha yoga but are woman-focused and tailored to the particular physical and emotional needs of pregnant ladies. It offers a safe environment for women to practice yoga at any stage of their pregnancy. Yoga offers much support for pregnancy. It’s a time of change, and it can be overwhelming for women to adjust to the changes to their body, their emotions and hormones all before their baby arrives. Prenatal yoga helps mums to be explore and connect with mind, body, and spirit during their journey through pregnancy.
Postnatal Yoga: These classes are a perfect opportunity for new mums and babies (pre-crawlers only) to bond in a quiet and soothing environment. Postnatal Yoga encourages new Mums to gently work with their body building up their physical exercise safely and slowly. Yoga can provide new Mums with many benefits physically, energetically and emotionally, helping you to rest and improve sleep (when your baby allows!).
