About Hips and Hamstrings

Release those tight spots in the hips where we hold so much tension.
One of the issues I get asked about the most is stiffness in the hips and tightness in the hamstrings.
Join me for this workshop where we shall look at the physical and non physical causes of stiff hips and tight hamstrings and the problems which can arise as a result.
We shall work slowly and deeply into the hips to free and open them working slowly towards Padmasana – full lotus with each attendee working to their safe level. Modifications and variations will be available to all.
We shall also look at exercises to safely open and stretch hamstrings.
This workshop is perfect for you if you have a sedentary life style, stiff hips and / or want to work slowly towards full lotus – time that is rarely available in a standard 1 hour yoga class.
It will also be ideal if you are a runner looking to increase your flexibility in this area.
