In this workshop we will tune into the Summer solstice, a time to celebrate action and doing (all those things fueled by our inner fire), it’s also a time to celebrate stillness.
The word solstice means “sun standing still”. On this day, the sun pauses movement on its path before reversing direction.
I’m inviting you to do the same. To take some time for stillness.
Exploring Yin yoga, a style of yoga that uses long-held, passive poses (seated or lying down) to nourish the connective tissues in the body, promoting greater physical flexibility, organ health and peace of mind.
An opportunity to slow down and soften more deeply. Yin yoga is a perfect balance to a more ‘yang’ style dynamic practice, and can have a deeply relaxing effect on mind and body.
Yin yoga is transformative and perfect for beginners.
We will complete the session with Yoga Nidra, deep relaxation.
By the end of the workshop I hope you feel deeply nourished, restored and inspired.
Come rest your bones and make space in your mind and body!
Unfortunately, due to Covid guidelines, at the moment I'm unable to offer bolsters to share.
I can order a new bolster if you wish to buy your own, contact me if you are interested - wellbeingwitheb@gmail.com
You will be held in a safe space if we all adhere to the following guidelines:
Bring your own mat, blankets and a bolster if you have one or a cushion or 2! (rolled up towels in a pillowcase can work just as well)
Please do not attend if you are showing symptoms of a fever, persistent cough, loss of taste or smell or you or a member of your household are self-isolating.
I will need to keep your details for test and trace (21 days after the event)
Please keep to 2 meter plus social distancing.
You are welcome to wear a face mask on entering and leaving the hall.
