This hatha yoga class is a combination of standing and seated/lying-down asanas (poses) and is designed for complete beginners or mixed ability students wishing to revisit the basics or take a more gentle approach to their practice. The focus is on alignment and developing a safe practice, whilst enjoying the other benefits yoga provides both mentally and physically. Beginners are encouraged to stay with first level options until they are comfortable to progress; those with a regular practice, or more experience, can take the add-on variations if they choose.
