With this workshop we’ll safely play with, explore and find how to feel comfortable with preparation for inversions: placing weight on the crown of the head, releasing into handstand from downward facing dog, finding space and release in shoulder stand, playing with headstand possibilities. If you feel uncomfortable with any of these things, this workshop could help you to find a way to access them. You do’t need to be able to do them already! There are modifications that will work if you prefer a gentler version of the postures. We will all enjoy some of the easiest and utterly relaxing inversions, like Feet-up-the-Wall (Vipariti karani).
A basic experience of yoga might be helpful for this workshop. Be prepared to be playful! Openness and willingness to be receptive to ourselves at a deeper level will also help with the experience.
