Forget all life’s worries, workloads and deadlines for just 1.5 hours. Combining physical posture work (asanas) with breathing and relaxation techniques, Angela offers a space for you to come and “reboot your system”.
The classes will be small, friendly and for all adults who have an interest to know more about Yoga. No flexibility is required, no previous experience is required. All her classes are aimed at debunking the myth that Yoga is for the young and flexible. Yoga is the integration of body, mind and breath. It is non-competitive and our reservoirs of hope and optimism can be nourished. In today’s frantic world, we need to ensure we nourish our resources of resilience and compassion.
Angela provides mats, bolsters, blankets, belts, blocks and chairs if required. All postures are given with many choices so you can decide how your body is feeling on the night as to what modifications you may wish to adopt. Breathing, relaxation and meditation practices finish each class and there is always the invitation to take what you’ve learnt on the mat into your everyday life. Angela’s passion is to provide access to as many people as possible to the joy and benefits of Mindfulness and Yoga.
How to pay: Bookings for class are per term (block) however if you wish to drop in, there may be spaces so please check with Angela first. Drop in rate is £7.50 per class.
