Do you struggle saying good- bye to Summer? Do you dread the long winter days and the constant threat of cold’s and ‘flus? Would you love some time for you to recharge and nurture and nourish your mind and body?
We have just what you have been looking for.
Autumn is a time of seasonal transition and as animals in Nature start to gather and store for the winter months so must we too prepare for the forthcoming winter and spring. The Autumn Equinox on September 23rd this year, is a time to reflect and take stock of our achievements and accomplishments and to set intentions for the future.
As the weather changes we are more prone to coming down with colds and ‘flus and feeling more inclined to hibernate as the nights draw in. We can use this to our advantage by taking some time for self-care, spending some time on nurturing and nourishing our mind and body.
We have created this half day mini-retreat with this transition in mind. It will be an event about slowing down, checking in, connecting with others and learning how we can do this.
Following the welcome and introductions Sarah will lead us through our intention setting followed by a nurturing yoga flow.
A nourishing seasonal lunch buffet will be created especially by Jojo and Barrie Thomson of Feasts and Fables who also run the hugely successful High Street Delicatessen in Newtown, Powys.
Patricia will then introduce you to the concepts of Nutritional Therapy and how we can best Nourish our bodies and minds for optimal wellbeing. Keeping things interactive we will do a health quiz with a Q&A and if this wasn’t enough you will receive a fabulous goody bag stuffed with some amazing offerings from both Welsh and UK wellbeing and ethical businesses. Included in the price of the retreat is also a 7 day menu plan designed to help you continue on your journey of Nurturing and Nourishing.
