Prenatal Yoga uses postures and breathing from both Hatha and Kundalini Yoga traditions. The classes address the aches and pains of pregnancy through yoga practice. Childbirth education is incorporated into the classes to help mothers to be more prepared and empowered for labour, birth and motherhood. Prenatal yoga classes create flexibility, focus, strength, and awareness through a gentle practice that is designed especially for the pregnant woman’s needs; interweaving childbirth education as well as addressing therapeutic applications. The classes are appropriate for both new and experienced yoga students.
