Yin and Yang are two naturally occurring forces supporting one another to create a whole.
Yin is the passive, soft, cool, feminine. Yang is the active, strong, hot, masculine. We need a balance of both to achieve a harmonious state of being.
In Yin yoga we hold passive stretches for a few minutes at a time to access deeper tissue allowing gravity to increase natural stretching.
Yang is associated to the movement and flow, strength and power.
In this class we’ll find just the right amount of Yang flow and Yin stillness to drop in to your body and breath for a moving meditation.
