At just 50 minutes long, I have designed these sessions to fit into your lunch hour. Based on the ancient Chinese principle of yin and yang, the classes incorporate both the passive, meditative side of yoga with the more active and dynamic. This gives you the chance to relax, energise and re-balance, feeling ready to move on to the next part of your day.
My name is Victoria Ucele, and I teach functional rather than aesthetic yoga, encouraging you to focus on what you feel in your body rather than the shapes you are making. I look at everyone as individuals with distinct bodies and minds, helping you adapt your practice so it is uniquely yours.
I hold the drop-in sessions every Thursday lunchtime at Cathays Community Centre in Cardiff. They cost just £5 (£4 unwaged), and please let me know if you need to borrow a yoga mat.
