Yoga is the perfect recovery activity for Runners. It can help to relieve tension in your muscles and restores your range of movement allowing you to run better the next time you lace up your trainers.
We will start with some gentle stretching to ease sore muscles before moving into a stretching and strengthening yoga sequence. Following this, we will hold some Yin Yoga poses which stretch the fascia, a network of tiny fibres throughout the body. The Yin poses are gentle poses which we hold for up to 5 minutes, before holding a quicker counter pose. We will close the session with a relaxation and meditation section.
