If you wish to learn more about Yoga, its rich history and philosophy, as well as taking your personal practice beyond the constraints of a weekly yoga class, then this 60 hour Foundation Course, validated by the British Wheel of Yoga, is a great choice. We will be exploring a range of yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques in depth, and learn about core concepts of Yoga, such as Hatha energetics, Mantra and Chakra. There will be talks and discussions about core texts as well as the relevance of Yoga in everyday life. Please find more details in the course information leaflet.
This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in deepening their understanding of yoga and a regular class attendance for about two years. Movement limitations should not prevent you from successfully completing the course. It will run for 10 Sundays over 10 months at Portland Therapy Centre, North View, Staple Hill, BS16 4NQ.
To apply for a place on the course, please read the course information, and send a completed application to Michaela at firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure you also contact your current yoga teacher and ask for a reference.
