About Moon Forest Flow
MOON FOREST FLOW
Moon Forest Flow is run by yoga teacher, rewilding advocate and women’s circle facilitator Carly Slade.
Based out of a caravan in the English countryside Moon Forest Flow is an adaptive, feminine and environmentally aware approach to yoga, nidra, nature, women’s circles and menstruality.
Mission Statement
Moon Forest Flow seeks to promote the importance of cycle adaptive yoga, deep rest, reconnecting to nature, community and living in tune with our inner rhythms and the rhythms of nature. We retreat to the moon lodge, delve into the forest and surrender to the flow to reconnect to the simplicity of a wilder life.
My approach to teaching yoga
In the studios I teach slow, fluid Hatha yoga and seek to promote a culture of inner listening and self-enquiry, inviting students to listen inwardly before moving outwardly and over time develop a strong relationship to their own unique inner teacher.
In the forests and well woman classes I teach yoga for women’s health to nurture, support and nourish our bodies at all ages, life stages and cycle phases. Inviting play, slowness, spontaneity and sound to rediscover our inner wild women. And always incorporate deep rest through Yoga Nidra , a relaxation practice that can help restore energy, promote encounters with our wild nature and rest deeply in profound presence and ease.
