Welcome to your journey with yoga, the union of the mind and the body with the breath.
For adults, classes are alignment-influenced moving safely with the body. There is actually no universal alignment that applies to every pose, nor is there a perfect form that applies to each person. Your body is the only one like it.
Special attention is given to the breath allowing us to move into mental awareness using a combination of Hatha-Flow, Therapeutic, Restorative and Yin inspired Yoga. I infuse slow, gentle flow style class with attention to strength and stabilization of the joints mindful of posture and body anatomy.
Yoga is a way of finding peace of mind through the meditation of movement and breath. Yoga is how you feel in the body, not how you look.
I also practice Restorative Yoga and work privately with people needing a supportive and gentle form of movement with yoga. I teach corporate clients in Milton Keynes such as Network Rail and VW and have two open classes a week; Thursday evenings at Giffard Park 7.15-8.15pm and Friday mornings ta Great Linford, 9.30-10.30am.
