About Philippa Wade Yoga
In my teaching I aim to inspire you to practice yoga regardless of age, ability and physical condition, to promote the benefits of yoga and make it accessible for everyone. I teach Hatha Yoga, I have been teaching professionally since 2011 and practising yoga for over 20 years. I hold a British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) diploma qualification – a 500 hour in-depth course completed over a 2-3 year period. My classes and client base is varied – I teach Corporate yoga, private sessions in the clients’ home, drop-in classes, gym classes and I am an experienced Prison yoga and meditation teacher. I am BWY Foundation Course Tutor.
My classes combine stretching & limbering to warm up, moving into standing postures, including balance postures, and into passive stretching towards the end of the class, 10-15 minute relaxation. There is a focus on the use of the breath in yoga & how to use to breath to maximise posture work. Classes are adapted to suit all levels of ability.
