About Relaxing and Self-Balancing Yoga
Hatha Yoga with adjustments for the season e.g. in winter we do a warming and strengthening sequence but as we go into spring it changes to a purifying and cleansing routine. Summer changes to a slow form of yoga and in autumn we return to a purifying and cleansing focus in preparation for winter. After the asanas, we do a breathing exercise and marma (ayurvedic massage and acupressure) which are matched to the season. This is followed by a short meditation sometimes combined with a mudra and then a relaxation where the real healing and balancing takes place.
