Unifying Yoga System (UYS) aims to teach you more than just the asana (postures) and instill a deeper purpose for your practice in line with its original intention. From the outset UY places equal emphasis on Asana (postures), Prana Pravaha (relaxation), Pranayama (increasing energy through breathing), Mudra and Bandha (co-ordinating and directing energy inwards) and Samadhi (Meditation). These five core practices are based upon Hatha Yoga and are supported by shatkriya (cleansing), diet, yogic physiology and philosophy.
UYS will explain in a clear and detailed way how these different elements fit together to form one wholistic practice which takes you on a journey from the physical, through your energy, mind and into states of meditation.
Then Yoga becomes an integral part of your life and not just something you do for an hour a week.
