About Yoga with Alex and Holistic Coaching

With the aim of yoga being to still the mind, and find more comfort and ease in the body, it is essential to actively attend to and accept what we are presented with (physically, mentally, and emotionally) on a moment by moment basis.

My lessons have a themed purpose and I look to work all areas of the body in every direction possible, i.e. standing, back bending, forward bending, twists and inversions.

Through the direct experience of breathing and moving, students can gain a true appreciation for their body and form habits that support their personal well-being.

As well as group teaching (classes listed below), I offer one-to-one instruction either online or in my own specially equipped practice room.

Qualified as a life coach in 2005, I recognise the practice of yoga can support you in living in the moment as well as helping create positive shifts in your physical well-being, your mind set, and your emotional state. As a part of my holistic coaching service, I offer individuals a short yoga practice that compliments the theme and the planned goal of our conversation on that day. I can also give you a copy of the practice to complete on your own after the coaching session.

Tuesday mornings, 9.00 - 10.00am. Online interactive class (gentle yoga) taught via Zoom

Tuesday evenings. 6.30 - 8.00pm. Chedington Village Hall, nr. Beaminster, Dorset, DT8 3JA (numbers limited to 6 students)

Thursday evenings, 6.00 - 7.30pm. Bothenhampton Village Hall, Bridport, DT6 4BJ (numbers limited to 8 students)

Friday mornings, 8.30-9.30am. Online interactive class (gentle yoga) taught via Zoom

Friday lunchtimes, 11.00am-12.30pm. Online interactive class (general yoga) taught via Zoom
