BODYBALANCE blends new yoga, tai chi, Pilates and guided relaxation and meditation with an inspiring soundtrack. If you haven’t tried yoga before then BODYBALANCE is a great introduction. If you’re already doing some form of yoga you’ll love the variety you get with BODYBALANCE.
Benefits include improved mobility, increased core strength and reduced stress levels, as controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses create a holistic workout that brings your body into a state of harmony and balance. The class is suitable throughout pregnancy and specific adaptations will be provided as required.
This is the official Les Mills programme that is taught in many gyms and health clubs around the world and is the only class of its kind in Christchurch. We include the full 45-50 minutes of exercises and follow these with 20 or so minutes of relaxation and meditation where you'll focus your mind and create a lasting sense of wellbeing and calm.
Our expert instructors have many years of experience and a wealth of specialist biomechanics knowledge and the classes have a relaxed and friendly vibe. We allow a little more time than just the standard 45 minutes or one hour you get at the gym so you never feel rushed and have time to enjoy the amazing energy and light of our beautiful venue.
