Carolyn discovered Yoga in 2005 when she studied for her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance accredited teaching diploma in Hatha Raja Yoga which she was awarded early in 2010

Carolyn has continued to evolve and grow her own unique style of Yoga which incorporates Ashtanga, Hatha and Seasonal Flow Tai Chi styles of Yoga alongside movement and fitness; she continues to explore and teach from her own personal journey and practice of Yoga, meditation and healing

Carolyn is committed, compassionate and passionate about helping people, both young and old and from all walks of life, to discover the beauty of Yoga; to re-balance, to de-stress and to tune into the energy of ones own body, mind, emotion and spirit through her fun classes

With classes across Hampshire and Surrey, Carolyn teaches in a sunny, humorous and intuitive way fulfilling the needs of the group and individuals with care and understanding with her unique and friendly style

Hatha Yoga - traditional form of Yoga most commonly found in the West. By achieving postures (asanas) and breath control (pranayama) the mind, body and soul become reunited – Yoga means ‘to join’ – leaving the whole person refreshed and vitalised

Yoga is for everyone, any age, any ability – benefits are easily and quickly achieved making the body and mind more flexible and supple enabling you to live now, in the moment

Seasonal Flow Yoga – includes traditional Hatha Yoga and traditional Chinese medicine on the body’s energy lines (meridians). The postures (asanas) are linked to the body’s five seasonal energy lines of Spring, Summer, late Summer, Autumn and Winter – these Seasonal Flow Yoga postures open the energy flow, relieving tensions and blockages – leaving the body and soul refreshed and reunited

Ashtanga Yoga – a dynamic, athletic style of Yoga which uses heat generating breath (ujjayi) to link the postures (asanas) leaving the mind clear and the body strong and flexible. Ashtanga Yoga achieves a refreshed, vital mind, body and soul

Fitness Yoga – uses traditional postures (asanas) and breath control (pranayama) together with up to date Western style strength and flexibility exercise. This modern mix is suited to all ages and abilities as flexibility and fitness can by achieved by all
