Hatha Yoga and Meditation Classes
A fusion of Hatha yoga, guided meditation and breathing practice to help balance physically and emotionally.
More strength, flexibility, healthier joints, healing for back pain and arthritis, stronger immunity, overall better wellbeing.
I design the practice using stretches and postures to put emphasis on different parts of the body; hips and hamstrings, core strength, shoulders, wrists and upper body, lower and upper back, overall flexibility with modification for the new or less able students.
The practice combines breathing and stretching techniques, focusing on alignments to develop yoga postures and mindfulness during the practice. I provide support and guidance to gain the maximum benefits during practice using blocks and straps. Finishing the session with guided relaxation to balance the body and mind feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Classes are held at:

Hart Village Hall- Friday 9.30am-10.30am
Greatham Community Centre -Thursday 5.45-6.45pm
Seaton Carew-Honrby Park Wednesday 6pm-7pm
The Golden Lion- Tuesday 6pm-7pm

A block booking of 4 sessions at £ 20.00. Blocks, straps and small cushion provided please bring a mat.

Following a long affair with Yoga practice I studied Sivananda Yoga. A classical Hatha Yoga course offering an intense study in anatomy, pranayama-breathing techniques, meditation as well as a taste of yogic life style in a ashram environment.
Since then I have been teaching Yoga at Community and Sports Centres. I have been inspired by other fantastic teachers, their styles and approach during my travels to yoga retreats to Poland, India.
I visited India Mcleod Ganj in the Himalayas to experience and practice Yoga at the source, staying with local people and being part of their culture and rituals.
Recently I have completed a therapeutic course 'Sacrum stability' to help with back problems on 'Yogauonline'.

One to one sessions tailored to the needs of the individuals are available on request in the comfort of your own home. I hour session £20.00
