In my classes I aim to create spaciousness in time and within the body/mind. It is an offering of time to integrate process and settle from lifeâ€™s challenges and back-up or re-fuel for the week ahead. The structures of my classes change and evolve according to my current influences as well as my Iyengar teaching practice.
I am keen on keeping my teaching fresh with new perspectives on the yoga practise and stimulate the enquiring mind to support the supple body. My classes work with and turn upside down the classical rigour of Iyengar yoga with its direct relationship to alignment and precision by working from felt sense and the imagination of the anatomy and movement.
We will be working with touch and partner work in a respectful way to heighten our sensing of form, anatomy and breath. JL
