The Yoga I teach is adapted to individuals, it is accessible to all types of people, regardless of age, experience, health or circumstance. My objective in teaching Yoga is to help you gain improvements in health, mobility, fitness and clarity of the mind through practicing Yoga.
I run small group courses over several weeks and provide a home practice sheet to complement the classes. During the classes I emphasises movement with the breath, and correct alignment in postures. I assist individuals to experience each posture safely and within his or her own limits, by suggesting adjustments and using props such as blocks. Over the course I see students develop familiarity with the postures and an ability to refine how they work in them, which enables them to gain the most benefit from their practice.
