Jodie is a registered Yoga Alliance Teacher having trained with Yogacampus.
Teaching both a Hatha and Vinyasa flow, she describes her classes as "a breath-led, flowing, alignment based practice, at a pace which allows for greater focus on the precision of mindful movement. Uniting the mind, body and spirit through movement and breath my classes will start with a mindful yoga practice followed but a guided relaxation to leave you calm, relaxed and strong."
A corporate solicitor working in the City of London, a cancer diagnosis shifted both perspective on life and career for Jodie. She says "having always dabbled in yoga, it became an absolute lifeline during treatment and afterwards. Through yoga and mindfulness I found a tool and learnt to give myself permission to rest, understand, adapt and heal."
Following treatment, Jodie left the City and completed a diploma in Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques, Mindfulness Based Stressed Management and Yoga Teacher Training. Sharing both her knowledge and experience, Jodie enjoys teaching in yoga studios and at her home studio in Billericay, Essex. Jodie also works with corporate companies providing both yoga classes and well-being coaching in the workplace.
