About Andy Nathan Yoga

The classes I teach are very much influenced by my life experience and years of yoga practice. My intention is to teach yoga practices and at the same time, inspire and uplift students.

Over the years I have also studied Buddhist meditation, mindfulness and Tai Chi. My background before yoga was desk-bound for many years so I’m well-versed with the ‘not being flexible enough’ thing.

My ethos is to create a safe space for you to let go of the busyness and stresses of your life – without judgement. You focus on listening to your body, making a connection with your breath and exploring your experiences.

However, the real magic is the deep connection that builds between us. I love seeing how these practices enable you to open up, express yourself, enjoy happiness. be yourself and achieve what you want.

Vinyasa classes
These term-time only classes are so much fun to teach. The class themes change each week.  Open to ALL levels except those brand new to yoga.  Send me an email or text/call me to ask me any questions.

The regular group of students who come to these classes, have a LOT of fun, and also develop and progress their practices. The key is about coming back regularly – week after week. For example, we might work one week on focusing on slow opening movements, another week may be dynamic and strong, another very meditative. This class is suitable for all levels including new to yoga. 1st class is free subject to free taster class availability.  Rolling monthly membership packages. No drop in.

Gentle Yoga classes –
These classes are suitable for those who are taking care of their bodies – joints/injuries/maybe more mature bodies.

Restorative Yoga classes –

Suitable for all – very much about understanding we need to learn how little to do, to actually just be still and relax.

Private one-to-one and group classes –
These classes are specifically tailored to the individual student’s needs and goals. All are welcomed. These sessions tend to take place in the student’s home. All mats and props may be provided by me if required.

Corporate classes –
These classes are specifically designed in collaboration with the individual business’s needs and goals. Limited availability. These classes will take place at customer site. All mats and props may be provided upon request.

I’ve had one of my best Jivamukti classes with Andy.
He’s a beautiful, inspiring human being; his love for yoga and for life transpire into his teachings.
I’m very grateful to have met him.

Andy teaches with passion and from the heart. Be prepared to work hard, in return you will get plenty of encouragement and a great sound track! I particularly like Andy’s choice of Mantras and he is great at hands on assists. You couldn’t ask for a better teacher.
