About YOGA for CHANGE

Yoga for Change’ taster sessions and half a day workshop is an opportunity to explore your life issues through the medium of your body using a series of yoga postures, mindful breathing and relaxation techniques. Through this holistic practice of yoga you will discover and connect with your deeper self.

In the modern world, we live in constant state of ‘stress’ as life demands more from us. It is important to bring your awareness on the body and actively relax, so that we balance our mind, body and nervous system and cope with the world around us.

Yoga for Change is the practice of yoga to explore through the medium of our body, all 4 areas of our being, Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Through this practice we aim to bring to bring full awareness, acceptance and relaxation state, which will trigger our parasympathetic nervous system, which allows our body to relax, heal and find wellness.

In these taster sessions and half a day workshop, Amber will guide you through a series of Yoga postures taught in a safe way, with a focus on connecting, relaxing and rejuvenate the body and mind. There will be also focus on breathing, mindfulness and a guided relaxation.

These classes using the gentle Iyengar method were the most wonderful I have ever experienced. Lovely stretches and balancing for the body and very relaxing and rejuvenating at the end. Would love it if more were arranged. Please !!
