About yogafrankie

I teach an integral and holistic style of hatha yoga, which works to improve physical and mental health, and which emphasises awareness and self-acceptance. All classes include attentive movment (asana), breathing practices (pranayama), and a deep relaxation practice (known as Yoga Nidra) and/or meditation.

I teach in a slow, attentive way – to help us soften, slow down and notice what it is we really feel, and how best to respond to this.  With practice, we learn to take these skills into daily life, so we can notice and respond to others and the world around us more appropriately and creatively.

I teach weekly Yoga classes in Stroud and Bristol, one-to-ones, and weekend workshops & retreats.
I also run a weekly Yoga for Women class, and a specialist Yoga for Chronic Pain Class- a 10-session course – in Stroud.
There is a friendly monthly meditation group too – on a Friday evening.  See my website for full details.

For many years I ran dedicated yoga classes for pregnant and postnatal women. I still offer individual sessions for women at this time of life, and Birth Preparation sessions for couples.
I'm an experienced teacher and teacher trainer, and also offer mentoring for new teachers.
