ABOUT HEATHER
Heather is a natural teacher…
Heather came to yoga following a career teaching chefs at Leith’s School of Food and Wine. Aware of the stress on her body caused by working in the kitchen, yoga was a way of unravelling the knots and creating a sense of wellbeing.
A British Wheel of Yoga trained teacher, Heather has gained a B.W.Y children’s module and passed the R.Y.E International Diploma for Children. Her other qualifications include the Yoga Beats Diploma with David Sye and Restorative Yoga Course with Judith Lassater.
Practicing yoga for 30 years, Heather has developed a wide range of teaching skills, with Hatha Yoga laying the foundation. She continues to learn from well established and experienced teachers such as Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers and Mary Parford, and passes on her learnings to her students.
Heather has participated in over 20 yoga retreats in the UK and worldwide, and runs yearly Yoga Holidays on the Greek Island of Andros.
When she isn’t teaching, Heather can be found swimming in ponds, rivers and oceans, enjoying the theatre, French films and cooking for friends and family.
