About Stretched Mums Yoga

Dynamic, inclusive yoga for mothers in Crystal Palace, South East London. Mondays 8:15pm – 9:15pm, Dreamcatcher Cafe, Westow Hill.

Price: £10 drop in or buy a 5-class pass for £45 (can be used flexibly i.e. doesn’t have to be used consecutively and no expiry date!)

Stretched Mums brings mothers together to practice yoga in a non-competitive, non-judgemental space. Motherhood is different for everyone, but along with the joy of bringing up children comes an array of challenges which can test our resilience, strength and patience. Having less time to focus on our own needs and desires can make it hard to hold onto our own sense of identity, while the physical challenges of parenting can make us feel tense, tired and depleted.
But yoga can help.

Yoga has many benefits for our bodies, as we start to feel more supple, strong, calm, and the aches and pains associated with stress or carrying toddlers or sitting at a desk all day start to dissipate. And it has many benefits for our minds, as we use the breath to calm worries or stress, become more compassionate towards ourselves and more capable of living in the moment.
