About Mandala Vinyasa Yoga Immersion Weekend with Mayra Cagengo
19-20-21 October Immersion Weekend Workshop with Mayra Candengo
Mayra Cadengo created and developed the Mandala Yoga system, as well as the procedure called Krama Yoga, or posture defragmentation (the observation and structural arrangement of loads in the skeletal and muscular system), providing with this a more thorough, simple and practical explanation to each asana, and helping the body to become more efficient in each motion and in the arrangement of its joints and weight. Krama Yoga is essential in the development of Mandala Yoga.
Mandala Yoga is a physical and strong practice, absolutely spiritual and free. The word mandala means “sacred circlesâ€, and its sadhana works with these types of motions in each joint and in the practice itself. Mandala Yoga emphasizes in the freedom and creativity of each person; it constitutes an integral workout that can be offered as therapeutic or physically intensive mandalas. The study and performance of this yoga provides a broad vision and understanding of the yoga asanas.
It is a very fun practice in which sequences are performed in circular and fluid motions, thus lubricating and strengthening every joint. Pulsating motions within any given postures are a particularity of Mandala Yoga; they help to increase the intensity of the physical opening of any given muscle group, as well as to achieve good muscle tone.Mandala Yoga is a practice that may be performed smoothly and without too much physical effort, helping you to maintain a state of meditation, but it can also become intense, helping you to detoxify your organism through sweat and diverse massages that every posture provides to each organ in your body.
Our most important and difficult to workout joints are the shoulders and hips, and in this practice they are continuously used, helping you to improve body mobility and to achieve stronger joints.
The abdomen is a key point that is used in this practice, achieving as a result a strong abdomen and a healthy lower back.
Mandala Yoga offers two levels: Basic Training and Advanced Training. Different workshops are also imparted to teach several techniques and to develop particular postures, sadhanas and skills.
