About Gabriella Espinosa – Women’s Body Wisdom

I am Gabriella, Women’s Body Wisdom guide, yoga teacher, nutritional therapist and instructor of The Non-Linear Movement Method®. I am committed to empowering you to tune in to the innate wisdom of your body and take charge of your hormonal health. I passionately believe that when you do this you can experience greater joy, pleasure and meaningful connection with yourself and the world around you.

I totally get the fatigue, overwhelm and lack of support you feel when your hormones start to shift. I spent 15 years working hard and playing hard as my career in marketing and PR took me took me around the globe. I had 3 children in 5 years and strived to be the perfect mother, perfect wife and entrepreneur at the expense of my health, putting myself last and not sleeping or nourishing myself properly. I turned 40 and was running on empty, burned out and developed an autoimmune thyroid condition.

I didn’t know my hormones work wondrously in sync and when one is out of tune others follow. I soon experienced anxiety, low mood, brain fog, insomnia and loss of libido. I had regular periods so no one questioned my hormones. Instead, I was prescribed beta-blockers, antidepressants and was left feeling confused. It took many tears, outrage and perseverance to find a practitioner to ask the right questions and congratulate me for entering peri-menopause! I changed my diet, addressed my gut health and turned to healing yoga, breathing and somatic movement practices. My energy improved, brain fog disappeared and I got my life back.

My own experience of moving into peri-menopause totally caught me off guard with a lack of knowledge about my body, my hormones and what to expect. I trained in nutritional therapy to deepen the knowledge of my body and support other women to demystify and navigate the transition into peri-menopause/menopause.My work combines evidence-based nutritional science with body, breath and movement practices that enable you to uncover what is holding you back from deeply knowing your body, balancing your hormones and living your best life.
