Classes are gentle but energetic enough to make you feel like you’ve worked your body. Done to music, we focus on postures, breathing, flowing sequences and guided relaxation. All ages and levels welcomed. A supportive, responsive environment, helping you feel relaxed and rejuvenated.
Thursday evening classes from 8.15-9.15 pm and Friday mornings from 10-11am at ZenYoga, 24A Camberwell Grove, Camberwell, London SE5 8RE (10 mins walk from Denmark Hill station, buses 6 or 468 from Herne Hill or bus 345 from Brixton).
Classes at the annual Darbar Indian classical music festival every autumn in central London (venues vary). Advance bookings essential on www.darbar.org

Kanwal’s classes were my first proper introduction to yoga and I haven’t looked back. The classes are perfect for anyone considering if yoga is for them as Kanwal helps you to find what works for you (she is an excellent teacher – warm and patient), and the variety of postures are challenging yet invigorating. Highly recommended.
Being new to yoga, I have really enjoyed learning under Kanwal whose approach is supportive whilst helping each individual recognise their own strengths and find the level of challenge that is right for them.
The classes are varied and interesting and I always leave feeling both relaxed and energised
Yoga classes with Kanwal at the end of a busy day are the best way to destress and workout. And the final head massage is worthy the whole trip to the studio 🙂 Highly recommended to all!
