ISLINGTON YOGA

Shadow Yoga is a school of Hatha Yoga which uses three main forms or preludes as preparation for the practice of yoga-asana. This preparatory stage, common in many traditional disciplines, is commonly overlooked and leaves the beginner unprepared for the rigours of asana work. The Shadow Yoga preludes cultivate strength and stamina, flexibility and a rhythm between movement and breath, all of which are essential for entering asana practice.
Islington Yoga is a school dedicated to the teaching of Shadow Yoga. There are Beginners courses, General level classes and workshops, as well as Pregnancy yoga courses.
