Pregnancy Yoga Classes – An opportunity for you to switch off from the outside world and focus on you and your baby, creating a space just for you both. Classes are designed to enhance and nurture your experience of pregnancy. Gentle exercises are practiced which can help to alleviate common ailments experienced in pregnancy. Breathing techniques, visualisations, meditations, relaxation and sound practices are explored, to aid relaxation and help facilitate the birth of your baby. Pregnancy yoga postures build stability and strength, whilst softening and relaxing appropriate areas of the body, creating space. Yoga practices can be used to relieve pain in labour and childbirth.  Classes are suitable for women over 14 weeks pregnant, up until birth (prior to joining, please check with your GP or midwife that yoga is suitable for you and your baby). Classes purchased in Blocks of 6 Classes.

Baby Yoga Classes – A loving and playful practice that encourages bonding between mum and baby, creating positive feelings and interaction.  The Class focuses on baby and also includes gentle yoga for mums with breathing practices, stretches, postnatal strengthening and relaxation techniques.  We use dry massage techniques and yoga postures for baby which are often practiced whilst singing – this delights everyone, especially babies! Baby Yoga helps to build trust and understanding, enhancing communication and building confidence, as both mum and baby continue to get to know one another. This promotes a feeling of security, as baby becomes accustomed to mum’s touch, voice and smell. Baby yoga helps to release tension, is relaxing, calming and fun!  This Class is suitable for babies from 3 months up until your baby is crawling (prior to joining, please check with your GP that yoga is suitable for you and your baby). Classes purchased in Blocks of 5 Classes.

Birth Preparation Workshop – Join us at our Birthlight Birth Preparation Workshop, for Pregnant women and Birth Partners.  In a warm and friendly environment, we will talk about the physiological process of labour, helping you both to know what to expect.  Our practical workshop will help you understand and use effective techniques, to support you in the birthing of baby.  This workshop shares effective tools to help you manage the intensity of labour including breath, sound, relaxation and massage practices.  There will be movement practice for an active birth with role play, so please wear comfortable clothes.

Private Yoga Classes – We are all unique with differing life experiences and lifestyles. A Private 1-to-1 yoga class is an ideal way to develop your yoga practice, specific to your individual needs at a time that’s most convenient to you. We offer a variety of yoga practices including Asana (Yoga Postures), Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, Birthlight Baby Yoga, Birthlight Birth Preparation Workshop, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga. We also teach relaxation techniques including Breath Work (Pranayama), Visualisation, Meditation and Yoga Nidra.
