The Yoga Pod offers group Vinyasa flow classes to students of all levels at the Cambrian Community Centre on Richmond Hill.
Vinyasa flow yoga combines breath with movement and posture in a continuous flow. Emphasis is placed on building and retaining heat in the body in order to safely and effectively mobilise joints and strenghten and stretch muscles, whilst simultaniously drawing the focus inward and calming the mind, hence this type of yoga often being referred to as a â€˜movement meditationâ€™.
Maisie Whitehead is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher and a professional dancer and aerialist. She brings her extensive knowledge of the body and movement to her yoga teaching, with careful attention to alignment of postures and a focus on working from within the individualâ€™s present limitations in order to deepen and develop your practice harmoniusly.
GROUP CLASSES - there are currently no regular group sessions. Please join the mailing list via our website for info on upcoming classes and events.
Maisie is also available for private one to one and groups sessions. Perfect for those with a busy schedule or who want a bit more individual attention to develop their practice. Sessions can be arranged at a time to suit you and can be held in your own home or at The Yoga Pod at the Cambrian Centre Richmond. Please contact for more information.
