I created Tranquility Yoga in 2007 after completing my teacher training course with the British School of Yoga, passing with Exceptional Merit. In 2010 I trained as a Dru Yoga teacher and was subsequently invited onto their teaching team teaching, assessing examinations & mentoring students. In 2016 I trained in two Pilates method, one of which is medicine for your back.
Tranquility Yoga is a fusion of the many styles of yoga I have studied - I call it “Yoga Soup”. Classes are held in and around the Tameside area as private and community groups, within schools and in-house corporate group courses and taster sessions.
Within a Tranquility Yoga class you will experience yoga at its best, flowing and static postures and sequences and of course the obligatory relaxation. Attending a regular weekly class you will always find something familiar, something new and something that may challenge you.
What you wont find is very bendy people in the latest yoga gear with the latest yoga mat. Ordinary people who want to just chill out, have some time to themselves, or who wish to become more flexible and move more easily attend my classes.
If you would like to contact me prior to coming to a Tranquility Yoga class please do so.
