Although it can help you improve your fitness, the goal of slow mindful yoga is building awareness, self-regulating the nervous system and deepening self-understanding. When you decide to practice slow, mindful yoga, you are doing something great for yourself that is both based on research evidence and has ancient roots in health and well-being. You are taking an important step towards maintaining and improving your health. Slow mindful yoga can be adapted to your needs. It is accessible and can help you optimise your health without risk of injury.
