General yoga classes specifically for men of all ages and abilities, to improve strength and flexibility and general well being. I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and started teaching on and off since 2008 when I gained a teaching diploma from the British Wheel of Yoga. Having recently retired I now hold regular weekly classes of yoga for men who may feel more comfortable practicing in a male environment taught my a male teacher.
Classes are structured to include postures, breath work and relaxation which are all essential to gain the many benefits that can be achieved through the practice of yoga..
I have also recently completed a teaching course for Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs, an evidence based programme of yoga for the management of chronic lower back pain, which has been proved more effective than many other methods.
