Iyengar Yoga with Marios Argiros

Marios Argiros is a Senior Intermediate Level 3 Iyengar Teacher who combines teaching yoga with his work as a classical musician. He trained at the Manchester and District Iyengar Yoga Institute and makes regular visits to India to study with the Iyengar family at the Ramamani Memorial Institute in Pune. He has also been inspired by the teaching of Jeanne Maslen, Jawahar Bangera and Firooza Ali among others.

He is now based in Hertfordshire and teaches classes locally and in London, and frequently gives workshops in the UK and Europe.

In 2005 he began teaching yoga holiday courses in Crete and now spends several months in Greece each summer studying and teaching yoga. Marios is qualified and fully insured to a level which enables him to undertake remedial work with injuries and chronic conditions, and finds that these students benefit enormously from the precision of Iyengar Yoga. Yoga was instrumental in his recovery from a serious car accident a few years ago and Marios feels very fortunate to have worked individually with Guruji in the medical classes in Pune.
