🌺 Julie teaches a gentle form of yoga called VINYASA KRAMA YOGA, which simply means gentle flowing SEQUENCED movements that take STEPS towards classical yoga postures....always using the BREATH to MINDFULLY guide the movement.

Grateful for Steve’s passion for yoga as a way to health, wellbeing and awakening. Choosing this style of vinyasa krama yoga because of its traceable, traditional yoga linage and logical steps towards traditional postures.
By Steve’s grace Julie was able to attend further courses and training with Indian yoga masters Srivatsa Ramaswami and Sribhashyam the son of the famous yoga teacher T. Krishnamacharya. Precious and privileged opportunities.
It is said that the yoga master Krishnamacharya was forefront in illuminating the western world to yoga. Krishnamacharya taught Iyengar, famous for his own style of yoga and Patabhali Jois famous for his Ashtanga yoga, both of whom went on to develop their own yoga styles within the western world, and have become very well known in the world of yoga.

🌸 julie is also an artist and author of a book of poems entitled “Touching Spirit”
she practises 5 Rhythms dance movement meditation and enjoys playing the harp and BEING in nature.
🌸 julie has known yoga from a child through the inspiration of her mum. Her love of gymnastics and dance and philosophy developed into yoga.
Julie has been practicing yoga for many years and teaching a wide variety of students for several years including students with M.E , M.S and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome also students with physical disability and depression.
Julie’s mission is to take yoga where it is needed ..to be able the offer yoga to everyone and for the people who need it most to be able to access Julie’s yoga.
