Traditional Hatha yoga class. Mixed ability.

90 minute class consisting of a 10 minute breathing practice, 65 minute physical practice and a 15 minute relaxation practice. The class aim is to increase strength and flexibility in the body, as well as learning tools that we can use to help us navigate the quick moving world around us. The class is suitable for regular yoga practitioners as well as beginners - I work in a staged approach so everyone will have somewhere to work. Yoga is practiced barefoot wearing clothes that allow easy movement such as tracksuit bottoms etc. I have a few spare mats but let me know if you would like to borrow one. I also recommend a jumper and a small blanket for the relaxation part of the class.  The cost is £10.00 per class or £35 for 4 classes which you can use over an 8-week period.

I am a yoga teacher twice over! Personally I have been practicing yoga since 2008.  In 2014 I went to India for 3 months and completed a month long intensive Sivananada Teacher Training Course in an Ashram on the side of the Ganges in the foothills of the Himalayas.  I received a distinction and enjoyed the experience on a personal level but felt I needed a more solid foundation in order to teach.  When I came back I was super lucky enough to be able to enrol in a 500 hour  (1 Saturday a month for 3.5 years plus homework plus actually starting to teach yoga. Totally more like 1000 hours!) British Wheel of Yoga course with the renowned yoga teachers Zoe Knott and Bob Insley. Absolute game changer!
