About Michelle Jansen

I’ve been teaching yoga successfully since 2002. Hatha yoga is my basis but I love to use elements of ashtanga as well as other forms of yoga in my classes . I come from a dance and fitness background so i have experience in how the body works . Yoga is like marmite you either love it or hate it . If you love it the practise should be a positive one , where you learn about how your body works and responds and what it needs .

Yoga is very beneficial as a weight loss tool , as a calming tool if your feeling stressed or unhappy , it’s very good for rehabilitation if your recovering or suffering from an injury , it can also help back pain .

I do not believe in labelling yoga practise , if you are new or advanced everyone works to their own level and abilities and I am there to help you every step of your practise . Yoga is not a class where we judge your abilities but where we will commend and respect your efforts .
