Anahata Yoga classes classes are designed to suit all levels of students from beginners to advanced and offer a combination of types of Yoga including Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa Flow and Restorative -- all of which are taught with the precision and detail of Iyenger.
The classes are planned to increase strength , suppleness and stability in equal measure in order to produce a healthy body and mind to cope with the demands of modern life.
Medical conditions and health problems are recorded and postures altered or offered accordingly. Props are supplied as needed.
Pranayama (breathwork) is taught as specific exercises in order to increase lung capacity and breath control as an aid to posture work and relaxation.
Age is no barrier to Yoga. Present pupils range from 16 to 86!!
Classes are taught with care and humour and aim to help everyone be the best that they can be!!
