About Nourysh Yoga
- Karen MacDonald ( RYT200 YAP) is invested in safe sustainable ways of moving to ease away the stresses of modern living. She places particular emphasis on the breath and slow practice to unwind as well as building a strong flexible body. While focussing on the mind, body and soul she likes to keep things fun. You don't need to be the right size, shape or fitness to share in the wisdom of yoga practice. All are welcome to explore both physical freedom and emotional peace in her Hatha classes.
Karen qualified (RYT200) after an inspiring foundation course with The British Wheel of Yoga and then teacher training with the award winning 'stretchbodymind'. She is a senior teacher, registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals. She is also a Registered Dietitian available for one-to-one consultation or group sessions and presentations.

Karen is a fantastic teacher. Came to Karen when off unwell with stress, anxiety and depression. I also had poor balance and no core strength at all. After only 6 weeks of attending Karen’s class my health had really improved,physiotherapist signed me off and couldn’t believe the difference in my balance and core strength after falling down the stairs 18 months earlier. Can’t thank Karen enough for her teaching skills and the classes she provides to the very stressed NHS staff.
