An active antenatal class, which is designed to dispel the fear of birth, is having a positive impact on pregnant women in Burnley. Daisy Birthing- one of the Daisy Foundation Social Enterprise programmes, anchors antenatal education to a woman's breath, body and movement, which has helped mothers to be in Burnley turn their negative perception of birth into the positive experience they never though they could have. Class runs for a six week block of 90 minutes per week on a Saturday morning in Colne.
Baby massage and yoga classes, tinies and wrigglers, are a baby led class with baby massage, baby yoga, postnatal movement, impartial education and support, is welcoming of all parenting choices, has peer to peer support and runs on a six weekly term.
