What we teach Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is a generic term that refers to any type of yoga that teaches physical postures. Nearly every type of yoga class taught in the West is Hatha yoga (unless stated otherwise ) . We give you will get a gentle introduction to the most basic yoga postures. You probably won’t work up a sweat in a our hatha yoga class, but you should end up leaving class feeling longer, looser, and more relaxed.

What we teach : Pilates

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Pilates is named for its creator, Joseph Pilates, who developed the exercises in the 1920s.

we work to combine both in some classes :

One of the main differences between Yoga and Pilates is that Yoga can be used for improving the flexibility of the body and it will also gradually increase the flexibility of your joints. Whereas Pilates focuses on trying to relax muscles which are tense and provide strengthening of the numerous muscles of the body

these are a great pair of yoga and pilates teachers with a unique style, they bring both fun and focus to the practice , I have never tried this before and they bring so much the class
