I have attended yoga practice with Julie for over two years. It is such s friendly and nurturing environment and has worked wonders for my flexibility and overall health. I recommend Julie’s classes without reservation.

I have been on a wonderful voyage of discovery since first attending Julie’s yoga and meditation classes 3 years ago . My new sense of well-being and my ability to find an inner balance ,have been treasured gifts which I am deeply grateful for . Small personal classes where we learn without competing , are keystones to this journey . Have been attending Julie’s yoga classes now for over 4 years and they have been a joy to be apart off. Having done Iyengar Yoga for over 30 years and teacher training I have a good appreciation of how to plan classes and the detail Julie put into her lesson preparation is second to non, which makes her classes each week different, with a great deal of variety, yet challenging for all levels of students. I have attended Julie’s classes for two years and the benefits have been remarkable. During this time I have become stronger, more flexible and more disciplined. My asthma has cleared up and I have learned to manage the anxiety and depression that I had suffered with for 10 years. I tried many yoga classes before I found her, but could not stick with any of them for long. I found some classes were nice for relaxation and a stretch, but they were not challenging enough and did not help me get stronger. Others were far too competitive or busy, with… Read more »

I have been practicing yoga for a long time and have been to many different classes, I love the different classes she teaches each week, working on different parts of the body but you always feeling that you’re whole body has been worked, we constantly reminded to breathe working with the postures working towards our edge.
I love the end of the class with relaxation and a short reading and thankful to Julie for all she gives to us in the class.

Julie is an instinctive teacher who tailors the postures and activities not only to her class, but to the individuals and their changing needs. Classes are small, with a wide range of abilities and Julie’s skilful teaching allows all to make progress at their own pace. She will ensure we all work to our potential in that lesson, modifying postures to support this, ensuring the challenge is realistic. Since starting Julies classes I have noticed a marked improvement in my physical and mental well being. Each week is different with every member of the classes individual needs being considered. Julie is such a lovely person and her knowledge is vast. Thoroughly enjoy her classes and would recommend them to anyone.

Julie is an excellent yoga teacher. I have been practising yoga for over thirty years, even during pregnancies, with a variety of teachers. Julie ie up there with the best of them. With the onset of age I find her classes suit my needs for continued flexibility. She tailors her classes for this and also deals with maintaining strength is all areas of the body. Her gentle and positive approach to correcting postures is also extremely helpful. I should recommend her to all new and experienced yoga devotees.
