Sunshine Mama Yoga runs pregnancy yoga, post-natal yoga, baby massage and baby yoga classes across West Lancashire and Merseyside.
Sunshine Mama Yoga has been set up by Laura, a local mum and yoga teacher, inspired to set up the business after experiencing the wonderful benefits of yoga during pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood.
Pregnant Mama Yoga (from 14 weeks gestation)
Gentle relaxing classes to help prepare your body and mind for pregnancy, child birth and motherhood. Classes include yoga that brings strength and freedom of movement, along with breathing and relaxation techniques that help you to feel calm and connected to your baby.
Shine Mama Yoga (at least 6 weeks after giving birth)
Specially designed for woman with babies and young children. These classes focus on toning and strengthening specific areas such as abdominal and pelvic muscles. Time is also spent on learning relaxation techniques to use in day-to-day life, including breathing exercises and positive affirmations.
Light & Love Baba Massage (from 6 weeks)
Soothing music, beautifully calming massage and gentle sensory stimulation. This class has been developed as a special time for you and your baby to share, using touch and sound to give your baby some tender loving care in a relaxing environment. New mama movement and mantras are also practiced to help bring peace and inner strength at this time of great change.
Bright Baba Yoga (from 8 weeks)
As your babyâ€™s awareness of the world around them grows yoga can be a great tool to both awaken your babyâ€™s senses and to calm them when their world is too stimulating. In this class you will learn lots of ways to have fun with your baby and engage them in activity. For you, these classes also include yoga poses and relaxation techniques to relief tiredness or stress.
