Yoga Classes at Yoga, Spirit & Strength are suitable for all ages, genders and abilities. The classes are taught by Samantha Slade who has 15 years teaching experience. There are Hatha classes & courses for Beginners and Intermediates, a Gentle class for Seniors and/or those less able bodied & a more Dynamic Yoga for Sport class for those into fitness. Pregnant ladies are welcome to all beginner/intermediate sessions.
All classes are consist of breathing, flowing sequences, holding postures, relaxation and meditation giving you the chance to Relax, Re-Balance & Re-Energise. Most are drop in classes except for Saturday and Thursday mornings which have to be booked as they run as courses.
The stretches help to release physical tension and increase fitness, strength and flexibility. The breathing strengthens the respiratory system, increases energy levels and helps calm the nervous system. While the relaxation helps to release harmful stress, induce the healing response and create a sense of peace and calm throughout mind, body and soul.
